The Classic Harbor Line is special in that it offers visitors different opportunities to both witness and understand New York architecture and enjoy a luxurious cruise. The cruise line hosts ticketed events that are open to the public and also private events with catering.
The views that visitors witness aboard the cruises are unprecedented and unmatched. The yachts come in all sorts of varieties, ranging in style from modern-day styles to old-world styles. Additionally, the Classic Harbor Line allows visitors to take tours during both the day and night. No matter the style of the yacht, each yacht is beautiful and finely crafted. Yachts feature luxurious decor, such as mahogany rails and gleaming brass fixtures.
Aboard each yacht, visitors witness breathtaking city views. Tours are either narrated or not, and each tour helps visitors identify famous buildings, monuments, and bridges. Visitors are also encouraged to host private events, such as nautical-themed weddings, wine tastings, or corporate outings, aboard each yacht.
Each tour begins at Pier 62 in Chelsea. The yachts make their way down the Hudson River and into the New York Harbor for Statue of Liberty and New York City skyline sightings. One of the exceptional things about the Classic Harbor Line is its partnership with the American Institute of Architects. This partnership enables the cruise line to give thrilling architecture tours to visitors around Manhattan.
Visitors can choose among four distinct tours: NYC Architecture, Lower Manhattan Architecture, NYC Bridges and Infrastructure, and the Featured Guide Series. Throughout the tours, crew members serve complimentary beer and wine and offer snacks. Tours operate seven days a week and cover famous buildings and monuments, such as the Chrysler Building, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge.
Visitors are sure to enjoy themselves aboard these yachts and learn more about the history and culture of New York City as well.
