Time Warner Center
A massive hub of offices, entertainment, residences, shops, and dining on Columbus Circle.

New York - Time Warner Center

Designed by David Childs and Mustafa Kemal Abadan, Time Warner Center features two 750 feet (230 m) twin towers connected by a multi-story shopping and dining center. The building is located at the southwest corner of Central Park and on the western side of Columbus Circle.

Time Warner Center dominates 2.8 million square feet (260,000 m2) comprised of offices, residences, shops, restaurants, and the Mandarin Oriental hotel. It took three years for the complex to reach completion in 2003. In 2006 toted the highest market value in New York City at $1.1 billion.

The center’s two 55-story towers intersect via a multistory cable-net wall at the ground-level entrance. This central building includes various upscale retail shops, most notably Stuart Weitzman, Cole Hann, Jo Malone, L.K. Bennett, Michael Kors, Ted Baker, Pink, and many more. Additionally, Time Warner center often hosts events and experiences in the fashion, culinary, and cultural spheres.

The dining options are not to be missed, with Michelin-starred restaurants and world-class chefs providing culinary experiences over simple meals. The eateries include Masa, Ascent Lounge, Per Se, Bluebird London, Landmarc and Porter House New York, as well as a large Whole Foods Market grocery store on the lower level. The complex also houses entertainment areas, including CNN’s studios and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Grab a drink and listen to first-rate jazz at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, buy a new handbag at Coach, taste fine chocolate at La Masion Du Chocolate, eat dinner at Momofuku Noodle Bar, or simply enjoy the views—Time Warner Center has something for everybody.
