Discover the counterculture of the 1960s and 70s in this extensive exhibition at the New York Public Library’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. As part of a citywide celebration of the 1960s, this exhibition explores the breadth and significance of this important era and controversies regarding race, politics, sexuality, and the environment. Items on display include posters and footage of Woodstock and the Vietnam War.
The exhibition will be open Monday: 10 AM to 6 PM; Tuesday & Wednesdays: 10 AM to 7:30 PM; Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 10 AM to 6 PM; and Sunday: 1 to 5 PM.
