Astoria is home to a vast diversity of cultures that blend together to create a harmonious community. A Memory of Astoria is an impressionistic portrait of Astoria created by Ezra Wube at the Museum of Moving Image.  It displays the area’s convergence of cultures, focusing on everyday moments, sights, and sounds. Wube reconstituted these experiences into a poetic visual collage, inserting himself as a silhouetted observer exploring the memories of his walks throughout the bustling neighborhood.  Take a walk through this exhibit and be blown away by his take on this diverse neighborhood.
