As a Thanksgiving tradition, this parade is one of New York City’s largest and oldest parades that started in 1924. Hosted by the notable department store, Macy’s, the parade welcomes fun, magic and spirit to get you right into the fall and festive spirit. Bystanders watch as various floats (some which include Hello Kitty, Spongebob Squarepants and of course Santa and his reindeers), parade the streets followed by celebrities and live entertainment throughout the procession. There is even an all-star massive floating balloon … this is a tradition you do not want to skip!

Address: West 77th St to 6th Ave to 7th Ave
