The motto of New York Photo Safari is: “Turning Picture-Takers into Image Makers!” And they take this mission statement very seriously. Technically, they offer “walking tours,” but they are actually more of a photography class! That’s right- you can learn how to take amazing photos right in the heart of NYC. You can bring any digital camera or rent one from the company. Far from a “postcard tour,” your group of 8 will be led by a professional shooter who guides you in the art of taking better pictures. You’ll be able to get high-grade shots of many landmarks in town. These include Rockefeller Center, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Flatiron Building, and Radio City Music Hall. Most tours last around three hours and require a lot of hoofing. Subway fare is covered.
