Tompkins Square Park is a beautiful public park located in the East Village in Manhattan. It covers over 10 acres, and opened in the year of 1834 and named in honor f Daniel Tompkins who was the former Vice President of the US.
Amongst its serene greenery, it holds two playgrounds with a main one, a basketball court, a handball court, chess tables, fitness equipment and not to forget .. a dog run park! This way you can relax and enjoy with friends, family and pups – whilst in the sights of Manhattan.
