Neighborhood café from the one and only, Danny Meyer, which means, high standards and expectations. And so, this beautiful place stands to its owner´s name. The coffee from Joe Coffee, the food (especially the pastries – don´t miss out the maple-glazed crullers), the staff and the whole experience is exactly what you need in your morning or afternoon coffee breaks!
Address: 103 E 19th Street
The teams behind Estela and Café Altro Paradiso are the ones who run this low key and yet cute and elegant place at The Met Breuer Museum. The Coffee is from Brooklyn roaster Parlor Coffee and the pastries and sandwiches are so good that it is difficult to describe – sticky buns are already considered one of the bests in town!
Address: Met Breuer, 945 Madison Avenue
You can find their artisanal delicious coffee and gourmet healthy food in many addresses around NY. All influenced from the renowned coffee culture hub of Melbourne Australia, where premium coffee is a way of life. Our absolute favorite is the one in Upper East Side, right in the heart of Museum Mile, where the coffee shop architecture meets the local aesthetic – Architectural Digest recently covered the interior design. Don´t miss out: Gluten Free Banana Bread topped with whipped ricotta, toasted pecans, fresh banana & berries and the Avocado Smash, topped with poached egg.
Address: 2 E 90th Street
It is not your average cup, but it is definitely the cutest you will ever try! Here the baristas take art in coffee to a whole new level and create lattes using La Colombe coffee that are unforgettable.
Address: 106 Mott Street
Super tiny and yet very NY – hidden gem! The coffee is amazing and the wallpaper walls are just hypnotizing. The beans comes from all over the world and are roasted by the best roasters in the industry; along with the baristas´ expertise in extracting the coffee, the result is pure delight! Must try when in UWS.
Address: 128 W 72nd Street
Toby´s Estate Coffee:
Brooklyn based specialty coffee roaster with many locations in the city. The Flatiron Espresso Bar inside Club Monaco, is our favorite, not only for the coffee, but also for the elegant and smart atmosphere “all in one”. Behind the Espresso Bar, there is a chic outpost of Strand Bookstore. Gourmet pastry items are available from Ovenly, Ceci Cela, Doughnut Plant, MegPies and chocolates from Mast Brothers.
Address: 160 Fifth Avenue
This icon from Chicago has a industrial-chic coffee bar in the High Line area, specifically The High Line Hotel. Coffee wise, one of the bests in the city: freshly and daily roasted. Plus, there are pastries from Bien Cuit and Mah Ze Dahr (so delicious!). The outdoor patio makes the experience even more enjoyable, and there is a bonus – the cutest Coffee truck serving espressos along the 10th Ave.
Address: High Line Hotel: 180 10th Ave at 20th St
Hip, healthy and cool place for coffee and small bites in West Village. Avocado toast is great (of course… what else to expect from such a trendy place?) and the oatmeal is also a must-try. Crowds are very local and charming, especially when they bring their dogs.
Address: 128 Charles Street
Step inside any of Maman’s various locations around the city to check this cute and charming coffee shop with the fairest cups ever. The décor, the ambience and specially the blue floral tableware makes you feel in France and forget about crazy NY! Maman offers a selection of delicious baked goods, breads, fresh breakfast and lunch options. The coffee is from beloved Toby’s Estate and obviously delicious, but the entire experience is a must-try!

Black Fox Coffee Co:
Coffee mecca in Financial District that offers a variety of three roasters in both espresso and filter preparations. Besides the great coffee, this modern and welcoming place has a nice chill atmosphere. On the menu, lots of very good options like eggs, toasts (avocado, of course!!!) and bagels.
