Kids halloweekend - new york
Ghouls & Gourds @ Brooklyn Botanic Gardens
October 28th | 12pm–5:30pm
This zany and colorful festival celebrates Halloween and the harvest season. Visitors of all ages are invited to enjoy this cornucopia of spectacular shows, weird workshops, and Brooklyn’s wackiest costume parade. Kids under 12 free!

Haunted High Line Halloween
October 28th | 11am–3pm
Between 14th and 16th Sts., The High Line taps into its spooky past with face painting, costumes, dancing, live performances and a photo booth.

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze
October 28th & 29th | 7pm-10pm
Want to see more than 7,000 glowing pumpkins? Just a train ride upstate, you can view the most intricately carved pumpkins shining along the riverside near Van Cortlandt Manor. You can also stargaze inside the Pumpkin Planetarium, see flying ghosts, and maybe spy Sleepy Hollow’s Headless Horseman!

The haunting dinosaur bones, get a Halloween upgrade for the iconic museums annual party. More than 30 of the halls will be open for trick-or-treating, arts and crafts, costumed characters, and live performances.

Seaport Halloween Block Party
October 29th | 11am–2pm
Don your best costume and get ready for some fun at this free block party! Watch stilt walkers, costumed characters, jugglers and balloon artists, as you munch on treats between each performance. Bring a candy bag to fill with goodies from the nearby shops.
