One of the largest, and possibly the most popular, flea markets in NYC, the Brooklyn Flea has grown over the years to include multiple locations across the boroughs. Find artisans selling their handmade products, funky vintage vendors, some of the most exciting food and drink entrepreneurs in the city and more at this bustling market. URBANSPACE GARMENT DISTRICT
You only have a few more weeks to sample food from this delicious pop-up market, located right in the heart of midtown. Stop by Broadway between 40th and 41st streets to sample bites from a variety of vendors. You can order a sushi burrito from Hai Street Kitchen & Co, an ice cream sandwich from Melt Bakery, or even a slice of deep dish Chicago-style pizza from Emmett’s.
LIC FLEA & FOOD
Open Saturdays and Sundays, spend a day in Long Island City, Queen’s hippest new neighborhood, sampling food from some of the best restaurants in the borough and scouring through beautiful crafts and jewelry.
Situated on the Upper West Side for 30 years now, this huge flea market focuses mostly on antiques and vintage clothing and is a treasure trove of awesome finds for those willing to look! In addition, the proceeds from the market go to four Manhattan public schools to provide enrichment opportunities for students.
HESTER STREET FAIR
Head to Manhattan’s Lower East Side for this awesome street fair that pays homage to the history of the neighborhood, which was once primarily a residential area for immigrants. You can find it all at this downtown market including jewelry, crafts, clothing, and some of the the trendiest new food vendors in Manhattan.
QUEENS INTERNATIONAL NIGHT MARKET
This lively market shows off the incredible diversity of Queens with over 80 vendors featuring food from around the globe. Try something new as you enjoy live performances and music or browse through crafts and other merchandise!
ARTISTS AND FLEAS
Even though its not outdoors, this funky flea is still deserving of a summertime visit at either of its two locations, Williamsburg or Chelsea Market. Mostly handmade clothing and goods and vintage items, Artists and Fleas has grown to be a well respected market among trendsetters and fashion entrepreneurs that is a must-do on any NYC flea market crawl.
