There are only a few days of summer left and what better way to spend them than enjoying some creative drinks that will definitely get you some new Instagram followers? So get your camera out, and don’t forget your ID!
Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar
Have you ever faced the struggle of wanting something refreshing and had to choose between a glass of wine and ice cream? The struggle is now over because you can have both, together.
The slogan of the bar is “innovative cocktails, an inspiring venue” and we can’t help but agree. The drinks are just as much fun as the name of the bar (saying it out loud it makes it even more fun), and it’s located in the Conrad Hotel. You get the choice to dip your boozy Popsicle in a glass of Prosecco or rosé, and the result is delicious!
And did we mention the views are spectacular?

It’s no secret that the frosé- the frozen rosé- is the 2017 official summer drink. Hotel Chantelle has found the perfect combination of a delicious rosé taste with sweet fruits, making it the ideal drink for the season. Hurry up and get a glass before the season is over (and anything iced will be too cold).

Mother of Pearl
If your Instagram is going for a different feel- where alcoholic popsicles and pink drinks- are not your style, we have something for you as well. Mother of Pearl is an upscale tiki bar in the East Village that serves the Shark Eye; a bourbon and passion fruit drink. Are you brave enough to try it? Make sure to use the straw…because sharks bite.

Wouldn’t Mondays be so much easier if we could add rum to our coffee? Slowly Shirley has made this possible with their Tahitian Coffee! It is a glass of Plantation Barbados rum, Pisco of Campo de Encanto, house falernum, honey, guava, passion fruit, orange and lime. Oh, and coffee of course! But remember, this is the kind of coffee to drink after the Monday shift, not in your portable coffee mug during the morning rush hour.

If you want to become a true New Yorker, you need to dream about a Caribbean vacation at least once a week. And while you dream away, you can now sip on some real tropical flavors. Their most popular drink, the “Lucky You,” is served in a fresh coconut with infused light rum, coconut water, fresh pineapple, coconut cream, and honey. Once you’ve finished this delicious drink, ask your server to crack it open so you can eat the flesh!
The only thing that can make this drink better is if it came with a one-way ticket to a tropical island (here’s hoping they will take this suggestion into consideration).
