Brews and Burgers in NYC: A Saint Patrick’s Day Price Guide

Gabriella Bavaro, Staff Writer

Looking for a great brew and burger this Saint Patrick’s Day! We are too– and We just might have an answer!

Saint Patricks Day is almost here, occurring this year on Saturday, March 17th, and, per usual, NYC will be packed with deals and vast celebrations of the most prominent patron saint of Ireland!

Celebrating this holiday is not just about the shamrocks, it’s about the Pub culture!

A little History:

Pubs and Breweries have existed for quite some time across Ireland and the US, but the oldest title lies with  Sean’s Bar in Athlone, County Westmeath which was established in the 10th century.

If you’re more closer to NYC, you can always count on the Heartland Brewery, one of our personal favorites, to provide a fantastic experience for all kinds of party-goers!

Luckily enough, the Brewery is having a great deal this weekend.  They are offering $7 pints of your favorite Heartland Brew all of Saint Patricks’ Day weekend!

They have several different locations that provide a different feel for the holiday, and vary on budget and location!

1. Conversational and Casual: Heartland Brewery at Midtown West – 625 8th Ave. at 41st St

This location mixes a dinner atmosphere with the traditional pub scene, and has a great aesthetic for classic Saint Patrick’s Day photos! It usually fills up that Saturday, and is a great casual place for the more conversational New Yorker!

2. Upscale: Heartland Brewery & Rotisserie at the Empire State Building – 350 5th Ave. at 34th St.

For a slightly more upscale celebration, visit the Empire State Building Location, for all the heart of a brewery with a little more extravagance in between!

3. Budget Conscious: HB Burger  – 127 w. 43rd St.
A Saint Patricks Day staple! This joint offers the traditional burger and beer experience option for those that are still on a budget, and the $7 pint deal doesn’t hurt either!

4. Heartland Brewery & Chophouse  – 127 w. 43rd St.

Another option on the list this Saint Patrick’s Day is the ever-popular  Chophouse, which offers the most sublime and mouthwatering burgers in addition to their brews. You won’t be let down by these!

**To receive their special pricing, just purchase & wear their “Heartland Brewery Drinking Team” T-shirt. Makes a great souvenir. **
